Raisin-Wheat Germ Pancakes

2 cups whole wheat flour;
1/2 cup wheat germ;
2 tsp. baking soda;
1 tsp. salt;
2 cups buttermilk;
3 eggs;
2 Tbsp. oil;
2 Tbsp. honey;
1/2 cup raisins.

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl; add buttermilk, eggs, oil and honey all at once. Stir well, then add raisins. Drop by 1/4 cup measure onto hot oiled griddle and turn when bubbly. Brown on other side and serve hot with warmed honey or pure maple syrup.
