Recipes from our grandmother's era. From a time when money was scarce and innovation was a necessity. Food was home grown and "put up" for winter survival.

Kentucky Fried Fish
Kentucky Fried Fish: Fish suppers are a popular way of raising money for churches, schools and clubs, particularly in the suburban parts of the state.
The fish, usually catfish, bass, white fish or perch, is rolled in cornmeal and fried in deep fat, then served hot in buns with tartar sauce, crisp coleslaw and coffee on the side.
