Fried Green Tomatoes--Kentucky Style!

Fried Green Tomatoes: A bunch of recipes about Kentucky fried food wouldn't be complete without this recipe:

Slice firm, green tomatoes into quarter or half inch thick slices, dip each slice in cornmeal to which has been added a dash of sugar and plenty of salt. Fry in bacon fat until brown, turning once during cooking.
