Kentucky Style Corn Stewed with Cream

Cut kernels from 6 ears of fresh corn.

Scrape cob with the dull edge of the knife to get out all the milk.
Add 1 teaspoon salt,
1 tablespoon sugar,
dash of pepper.
Place in skillet and
add 1/2 cup water.
Let water boil out and add 1/2 cup sweet cream.
Turn down heat and let simmer gently for about ten minutes.

If too dry add more cream.
